Seventy-three cars turned out for Saturday's Super Showdown Stock Car Series, with Justin Boney (Modified), Jay Bailey (Champ Modified), Leif Wyer (Factory Stock and John Bass (Hobby Stock) claiming the feature victories.

Leavenworth's Boney outlasted a huge 26-car field that included a host of the area's premier drivers to take Saturday's Modified win. Topeka veteran Billy Robison finished second to Boney, while Cody Agler of Emporia, Darron Fuqua of Topeka and points leader Ryan Phillips of Osage City rounded out the top five.

Jim Hernandez Jr., (Topeka) finished sixth, followed by Steven Bowers Jr. (Topeka); Jake Richards (Kansas City, Kan.), Scott Crystal (Overland Park) and Justin Becker (Holton).

Lyndon's Bailey won the Champ Modified feature, leading David Chambers (Yates Center), Jesse Shotts (Topeka), Huey Jacobs (Stewartsville, Mo.) and Marty Grist (Topeka).

Leif Weyer of Centralia was the Factory Stock winner, with Steve Herrick (Topeka) finishing second. Topeka's Mike Ireland was third, with Eric Weyer (Centralia) fourth and Bob Troutwine (Topeka) fifth.

Topekan Bass was the Hobby stock winner Saturday, beating Zachary Henery (Berryton), Dylan Whitehead (Overland Park), Dan Canady (Topeka) and Darren Davenport ( Tecumseh) to the finish line.
