Super Quick Series Rules

Heartland Super Quick Series General Rules

All Safety and Tech rules will follow 2012 NHRA Rulebook. Cars going quicker than 7.50 (4.50) will be required to follow all Advanced ET Rules and Regulations.

• Maximum dial in:
Door car – 8.45 (5.39 1/8th mile)
Dragster – 7.85 (4.99 1/8th mile)

• Door cars will be called to the staging lanes before dragsters – cars will be pulled out and paired in the same manner – when door car lanes are emptied, dragsters will follow. If remaining cars are in single file, cars will be paired as they are lined up, with lane choice going to the quicker dial-in. In the case of an odd number of door cars entered, the last door car pulled will race the first dragster lined up in the opposite lane.

• All cars will be randomly paired until the quarter finals, at which time the remainder of the race will be laddered.

• Lane choice will be given to driver/car with quickest dial-in.

• Races will be run on 1/4 mile unless HPT track management decides to change to 1/8 mile due to weather (high wind) conditions. Decision will be made prior to time runs.

• All participating vehicles must run 2012 series decal, along with supporting contingency decals to be eligible for purse payouts, contingency money or products. A list of all contingency sponsors and awards will be provided to all racers at first race.

•To ensure a timely, well-structured event, each racer is expected to report to the staging lanes upon the first call by the PA announcer.
