Heartland Park is proud to announce its participation in National Contingency Program

 

Heartland Park Topeka announced today that it is now part of the prestigious Contingency Connection national contingency program. Both the drag strip and BriggsAuto.com Speedway (dirt track) were chosen to participate in this program because of the importance Heartland Park places on the weekly racing at the facility.

“This is another great opportunity for Heartland Park Topeka to show our appreciation for our racers that put on such a great show for our fans,” said Joe Douthitt, General Manager of Heartland Park. “ The investment in this program is well worth the expense and we are proud to join a great group of tracks that offer this contingency program. We encourage all of our racers to take advantage of the benefits of this new program at Heartland Park Topeka.”

The contingency awards will be distributed at each race in the form of $25 product certificates. The drivers at BriggsAuto.com Speedway can begin participating in the program starting at the Super Saturday Showdown race on Saturday, April 21. ET Bracket racers can begin their participation on Saturday, April 28. Contingency awards will be awarded in a variety of ways throughout the season and details will be released before each race.

National manufacturers such as Edelbrock, Moroso, JE Pistons, Aeroquip, CV Products, Auto Meter, MSD, Comp Cams, Mr. Gasket, Richmond Gear, TCI, ACCEL, Lincoln Electric, Russell, Bully Dog, Taylor Vertex, Melling, Hastings, RJS Safety Equipment and many, many more will be posting awards for Heartland Park Topeka drag and dirt racers. Racers participating in the Super Saturday Showdown Series can win extra cash. by  displaying a 12″ x 9″ BriggsAuto.com Contingency sticker on the right rear of the race car. The stickers are available at the Coke trailer during Super Saturday Showdown races.

If one of the registered racers wins their feature event, they will receive the following; Modified $100, B Mod $75, Factory Stock & Hobby Stock $50.

The payouts will be accumulated throughout the season and distributed at the 2012 HPT Banquet on Friday, November 9, 2012. (Example – If a Modified driver wins 11 times this season, he would collect an extra $1100 at the banquet.)

This added bounus should come as a pleasant surprise to the racers and fans!
