HPT Announces Additional PINKS All Out Entries

TOPEKA, KS (February 25, 2010) вЂ“ Heartland Park Topeka has made additional racer entries available for PINKS All Out, a SPEED original television series. The show is scheduled to return to HPT taping on July 17, 2010. Racers will have two opportunities to gain entry into the countryвЂ™s hottest grassroots drag racing television show through a lottery drawing and a qualifying race. Drivers may sign up for a lottery drawing now through Tuesday, May 25th. The drawing will be held on Wednesday, June 2nd. Lottery winners will be notified by email to the address provided in the sign up and they will have until 5:00 pm CST on Monday, June 7th to complete the registration process and claim their spot before it will be released.

Heartland Park Topeka will host a PINKS All Out Qualifying race on Saturday, May 8^th. Held in conjunction with the HPT E.T. Bracket and Jr. Dragster Series race, racers will vie for up to 40 spots to be filled through a separate qualifier elimination bracket. DriverвЂ™s with the best non-red reaction time or closest to their dial without breaking out during the event will automatically be qualified for PINKS All Out. Additional spots will be awarded to the final 16 cars through the eliminations. All participants in the qualifying race must meet the requirements for participation in PINKS All Out including:

All drivers MUST be 18 years of age or older
All vehicles MUST be a 12.99 seconds or quicker / door car ONLY
All driver entries are NON-TRANSFERABLE. NO EXCEPTIONS
Only the registered driver on the entry will be allowed to participate in this event
Only one race entry per driver
Only one driver per vehicle
All vehicles must pass NHRA tech inspection and meet all requirements for the ET the vehicle runs

Eliminations: Full Tree/Handicapped Start
Handicap Dial
Lane Choice: Determined by a coin toss
