Thrill seekers will have plenty of chances to get on track at Heartland Park Topeka in the coming weeks.
The first opportunity for drivers to get on track at HPT will be Wednesday, October 17 at the final HPT Touring Club date of 2012. Any driver of any skill level can bring their vehicle out to Heartland Park and drive around the road course from 1:00 PM to dusk for $125 (Register here https://tix.extremetix.com/Online/?siteID=2722&cartID=ddf569cb-b617-4fd3-a5bb-a74cdf60d363&eventID=35502) There will even be professionals on hand to teach new drivers the fastest way around the track.
This Saturday and Sunday the National Auto Sport Association (NASA) will be on the road Course at Heartland Park. NASA was formed in 1991 to deliver high quality motorsports events to enthusiasts at major racing venues throughout the nation. NASA has created programs that allow owners of both racecars and high-performance street-driven vehicles to enjoy the full performance capabilities of their cars in a safe and controlled environment. NASA offers many different programs that will allow drivers to enjoy motorsports on a number of different levels, including their High Performance Driving Events (HPDE), Rally Sport, Time Trial, NASA-X and Competition Racing programs. Heartland Park Topeka hasn’t forgotten the thrill seekers who prefer two wheels over four, the final HPT Bike Day of 2012 will be Monday, October 22.
